Only original purchasers of UGO Furniture Products may take advantage of this policy. If your part or items that you wish to cancel has not shipped from our warehouse, you may cancel that part of your order and receiver a refund of your entire purchase including applicable shipping costs. You may return any product that has already shipped from our warehouse within 30 days of receiving the item by shipping the product back to our warehouse prepaid. If the product is in new condition, as UGO Furniture will determine in its sole discretion, you will receive a refund of your entire purchase price, less original shipping costs and a restocking fee of 20%. UGO Furniture will issue refunds in the same manner in which it originally charged the customer. A refund of a cash or check payment will issue within 14 days of cancellation.

Taking Care of Your UGO OUTDOOR MISSION Furniture


Terraza Outdoor/Indoor Fabric – Used for ūgo Outdoor Furniture

These fabrics have been designed and manufactured for indoor/outdoor applications.  Special pigments and finishes have been applied so these fabrics are UV resistant and water repellent.  The fabrics will resist fading for at least 500 light hours in direct sun.  Spun Polyester does not promote mildew growth.  Mildew is a living organism, and must have a host to support growth.  This host can come from a number of sources, including grease, suntan lotion, dirt, and bird droppings.  Once a host is removed from the fabric surface, the mildew can no longer survive.  This is why it is imperative that outdoor fabrics, be cleaned regularly.  It is their superior ability to withstand strong cleaning agents that make outdoor fabrics mildew resistant. To clean mildew stains, prepare a mild solution of natural soap (we suggest 2 cupfuls of soap mixed in 1 gallon of water).  Apply solution by spraying fabric and if necessary, lightly scrub the fabric surface using a clean, soft rag or sponge.  Sponge or wipe off excess solution and allow drying. If the covers are removable, machine wash in cold water with a mild soap, then air dry.

Taking Care of ūgo Outdoor Wood

There are various cedar woods that are used for Cedar Outdoor Furniture. Some of the most desirable are Western Red Cedar, Eastern White Cedar and yellow cedar. Each has its own unique tones, but left to age naturally, all will gradually have a silver-gray color with a raised grain. Most people prefer natural aging. However, if this is not your preference, there are things you can do to prevent natural aging of your Cedar Outdoor Furniture. 

Storage is the beauty of UGO Outdoor Mission.  Simple dissemble your furniture and store for the winter.  UGO Outdoor furniture covers can be purchased to protect your investment when it is not in use. During longer periods in which the furniture is not in use, you can put it in storage. However, this really is not necessary if you care for it properly.

Your Ugo Outdoor Furniture arrives treated with a wood sealer which blocks the pores preventing moisture and dirt from getting in the pores. This will result in the silver-gray coloring of the Cedar Outdoor Furniture, but inhibits the grain from becoming raised. 

In its natural state, Western Red Cedar’s color ranges from light amber to deep honey brown. Since Western red cedar comes in varying shades, any one set may contain a variation of wood colors. Most people consider part of Western Red Cedar’s charm. 

Heavy Cleaning for Stubborn Stains and Mildew

Terraza fabric does not promote mildew growth; however, mildew may grow on dirt and other foreign substances that are not removed from the fabric.  To clean mildew, or other stubborn stains:

· Eight ounces (one cup) of chlorine bleach.
· Two ounces (1/4 cup) of mild soap and/or detergent.
· One gallon of water.
· Clean with soft bristle brush.
· Allow mixture to soak into the fabric for up to 20 minutes.
· Rinse thoroughly.
· Air dry.
· Repeat if necessary.
· Re-treatment of fabric for water and stain resistance will be necessary.

Remember to protect the area around your Terraza if using a bleach solution.  Carpet or other fabrics that are not Terraza may have an adverse reaction to the bleach. 

Re-treating the Fabric

As part of the finishing process, Terraza fabrics are treated with a fluorocarbon finish, which enhances water repellency.  This finish is designed to last for several years, but must be replenished after a thorough cleaning.  Based on test results, Ugo Furniture recommends 303 High Tech Fabric Guard as the preferred re-treatment product for Terraza fabrics.  Fabrics should be re-treated after thorough cleaning or after five years of use.  For more information on re-treatment products, please visit www. 303products.com.

Applying 303 High Tech Fabric Guard

303 should be applied to Terraza fabrics after each thorough cleaning, which typically removes the original finish and reduces the fabrics’ water repellency.
· Clean Terraza fabric, using one of the cleaning methods.
· Allow Terraza to completely air dry.
· Apply 303 Fabric Guard in a well ventilated area following instructions on the container.
· Apply 303 in a thin, even coat and allow fabric to dry completely.
· Apply a second thin, even coating of 303.  (Two light coatings are more effective in restoring fabric water resistance that a single heavy coating.  A 15-ounce   bottle provides coverage of up to 50 square feet of fabric.)

Helpful Hints:

· Protect the area around the Terraza fabric when using a bleach solution – bleach may discolor non- Terraza fabrics.  Always rinse Terraza thoroughly to completely remove bleach.
· Terraza air dries very quickly. Machine drying is not necessary.
· If fabric has some wrinkling, use an iron, if necessary, but only on the synthetic setting.  As some irons exceed the recommended 100° F temperature on the synthetic setting, test a small inconspicuous area before ironing the entire piece.
· DO NOT use a steamer or iron set to steam setting.
· Use of bleach and/or advanced age of the fabric application may impact the deterioration of the sewing thread and other non- Terraza components.

What is Organic Cotton?


Ugo Furniture uses Organic Cotton grown in the USA in the practice of an organic farming system.  That is, a system of ecological soil management that relies on building humus levels through crop rotations, recycling organic wastes, and applying balanced mineral amendments. When necessary, this system uses mechanical, botanical, or biological controls that have minimum adverse effects on health and the environment. In addition, organic crops are produced without the use of synthetic pesticides, synthetic fertilizers and synthetic herbicides.

Organic farming does not employ synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers, making organically-grown cotton a clean, pure, toxin-free, and natural product.  Furthermore, organic farming results in sustainable, healthy soil management that reduces erosion and run-off.  Like all organic products, organic cotton manufacturing is labor-intensive process so expect to pay a little more, but expect a better product.

What is the warranty on my Ugo furniture?


Ugo Furniture (“Ugo”) offers a five year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on furniture (the “Product”).  This warranty is offered only to the original purchaser of a new product and is subject to the terms and conditions below.  For full warranty information refer to Ugo Furniture.

Does Ugo ship internationally?


Yes, Ugo Furniture does ship internationally.  For special orders and deliveries we will attempt to work with customers outside the United States to help you receive your Ugo Furniture.

How do I Track my purchase and will I receive an Order Confirmation?

Yes there are.  Our wood frame and cushion supports have been strength tested for maximum performance and capacity. Below is the weight capacity for each item:

Can I purchase individual parts of a Ugo?


Yes, the beauty of Ugo Furniture is the individual parts that come together to make our furniture.  Whether you are looking to upgrade from a loveseat to a sofa or you simply want to change the fabric colors on your furniture.  Customers can order the rails, cushion supports, support ends, cushion covers, and cushions all separately.

What are the shipping charges and how does pick up and delivery operate?


Ugo Furniture uses UPS Ground for furniture home delivery.  Because our furniture can be broken down, this allows us to ship faster than most furniture companies.  East Coast destinations can typically expect delivery within 5-7 business days. West Coast deliveries typically can be received within 2-3 days of shipping from the Ugo Furniture Warehouse in Eugene, Oregon. 

Ugo Furniture offers free delivery and set-up for customers in the Eugene/Springfield area.  This includes all purchases within 25 miles of the Ugo Furniture Warehouse in Eugene. 

We welcome all Ugo Furniture customers to pick up your furniture at our warehouse.  Please call Ugo Customer Service at 1.877.248.0497 or locally at 541.344.6683 to schedule your pick up.

What if my furniture arrives with damage from shipping?


Ugo Furniture will make every attempt to have minor damage repaired or replaced without returning your furniture to our manufacturing facility.  If major damage occurs, we will arrange furniture pick-up and return at no cost to you.  Because our furniture is modular we can often send a replacement for just the damaged part. 

Please note that Ugo Furniture will not be held responsible for any damage first reported to us more than 10 days after delivery.  For COM (Customer’s Own Material) orders, Ugo Furniture is not responsible for any damages due to defective or unsuitable fabric.
